Join seaweed expert Tanya Stiller for an unforgettable experience exploring the medicinal properties of Bladderwrack and foraging for seaweed along the stunning shores of the East Bay
In this intimate class, limited to just 15 participants, you'll have the unique opportunity to:
Learn about Bladderwrack medicine and the fucoidan and other medicinal constituents found in Fucus species seaweed.
Harvest and forage Bladderwrack and discover other types of seaweeds like Turkish Washcloth and Sea Lettuce.
Explore the radio-protective qualities of algin, the cardiovascular health benefits, and the therapeutic support to the thyroid that comes from Bladderwrack.
Don't miss out on this immersive experience where you'll deepen your understanding of seaweed medicine and connect with nature in a meaningful way! This is a low tide forage. You won't need to get in the ocean, but we recommend wearing shoes with great traction.
