Sonoma County Mushroom Foraging
Explore the diverse landscapes of Sonoma County with our expert guides Autumn Summers or Patrick Hamilton. From coastal trails to beautiful inland areas, these 3-4 hour foraging adventures offer a unique chance to discover wild mushrooms and learn sustainable harvesting practices. Perfect for both beginners and experienced foragers.
These classes cover the basics of wild mushroom foraging, with time to forage independently and meet back with your guide to review your finds. Past foragers have found chanterelles, boletes, black trumpets, and more.
Please note that, although our foragers often go home with mushrooms, we are at the whim of nature, so we can’t guarantee you’ll find any on your trip. We can, however, promise that you’ll have a great time and learn a ton about foraging!
